Bespoke Architectural Stonework.

Dry Stone Outbuilding with turf to timber roof – the “Hobbit House”

Rochdale, Greater Manchester

This special project, which involved dry stone work, timber work and turf roofinh was designed and constructed solely by one of our drystone craftspersons as part of the Drystonecraft international TM continuing professional development programme

The works attracted some funding from our grant subsidy scheme and for historical reasons, only the existing stone on site was used in the construction of the building.
